Before you talk to her, try to observe how she is as a person, not just how attractive she looks. Find out the things that she's interested in by observing her from afar.
What does she always bring with her? Is it a book? If yes, what genre might she be interested in?
What kind of music does she listen to? Do you have similar tastes?
Is she into sports, travel, movies, or video games?
Knowing the things that interest her can definitely help you know how to start a conversation with her. You can start talking to her by commenting on these things.
Step ## Observe your surroundings.
Take a look at your surroundings or the current situation. Is there anything that you can comment on as a conversation starter? It can be about the weather, no matter how clich� that may sound. It can be about the music that's playing in the background, if you like it or you don't. It can even be about the bus running late, if you think that's going to get her attention.
However, if the comment you're about to make is a bit on the negative side, be sure to keep your attitude light and positive. Don't give her the impression that you're a complainer.
Step ## Be friendly.
Talk to her in a natural, calm, and friendly manner. Keep it light. It's also important to maintain eye contact to let her know that you're interested in what she has to say too. Avoid looking around because this shows disinterest. But most importantly, avoid letting your eyes roam all over her body. You wouldn't want to creep her out!
If you want to get a chance to know her better, you have to make her feel comfortable around you.
Step ## Show respect and interest.
Show the girl that you respect her by acknowledging her interests and asking for her opinions. Don't do all the talk. Girls don't like that. Let her have her time too, and be sure that you listen attentively. Also show her that you are interested in the conversation by making it about an exchange of ideas, rather than just complimenting her looks nonstop. That will only make her think that you're not really sincere in getting to know her.

Make her laugh using your natural, witty humor. Let it flow as your conversation progresses. Stay away from forced jokes because they're just plain awkward. If it makes you less nervous, think of her as a potential buddy that you'd want to get to know better, rather than someone you want to hook up with. She'll see that you're truly interested in her as a person, which will make asking her out later so much easier!
Talking to a girl you barely know doesn't have to be painfully difficult and awkward. Just be sincere, friendly, and respectful.
