Admit it. There is nothing better than cuddling up with your boyfriend during chilly days. It is indeed a great weather for cuddling and simply enjoying each other's company. Pair it up with a warm blanket and cups of hot cocoa with marshmallows, and you're ready to warm up even the coldest of days.
There are a lot of things that the both of you can enjoy during the cold season. You can even get a few friends to tag along. Below are some suggestions for how to spend the chilly days with your man.
Make good old s'mores, with a twist
Who says s'mores are only for camping? They're great to have during cold chilly weather too! Huddle up indoors and roast marshmallows in the fireplace or your kitchen range. Have fun wiping the smudges of chocolate drops on each other and see how it goes from there. Although it sounds messy, it can be a sweet and intimate way to spend your day with your partner.
Stay in
Sometimes, choosing to be lazy on a cold day seems like a better plan. Take the whole day off to sleep in and just cuddle with your partner. Also, you can catch up on your favorite TV series, have a movie marathon, sit by the fire and talk for hours, or indulge in the goodness of cold leftover pizza.
If you both love to read, maybe it's time to hit up those pile of books you've been meaning to read. Read to your partner or read together. You can even act out scenes from the book just for the fun of it! This is definitely a perfect excuse to stay at home.
Have a Wii tournament
If you're staying in, you might want to consider bringing out each other's competitive side through a Wii tournament. There's no harm in having a little healthy competition in a relationship. It's also a perfect indoor activity that's fun and good for the body.
Pick out a few games and get on with your tournament. Establish rules to minimize conflict. To make it more fun and interesting, lay out some consequences for whoever loses each round or game.
Do something weird
Go to YouTube and look up weird couple videos. Some of them are of a girl putting makeup on her boyfriend, and vice versa. There's also those where the couples do silly challenges and makes the loser do a consequence. Why don't you give some of these a try?
You don't have to document it and post it online if you don't feel comfortable sharing it with complete strangers. You just have to enjoy the moment and maybe laugh at the outcome.
Brave the cold
If you don't mind the cold outside, you can reserve a table at your favorite restaurant, or head out to your favorite bar and sample every cocktail drink. If you want to make it more exciting, get dressed in your over-sized sports jackets and purchase tickets to a beer-splashing football game to cheer for your favorite team.
Spend a weekend at a cabin
If heading out to the great outdoors is your cup of tea on a cold weather, go for it. Book a cabin and invite your friends to join in for a weekend adventure. Make it a fun outdoor experience by writing down a list of activities you and your friends would like to do. You can build a campfire and tell stories, go on a short hike to see the scenic view, or prepare a few indoor games.
In all honesty, it wouldn't matter how extravagant or simple your plans are for the cold days. As long as you are by his side, you can give him the warmth he needs. What's important is that the both of you have fun and forget about all your worries.
