How to Find a Girl You Want to Date

Finding someone to date can be a bit challenging if you're not a very social person. Approaching a girl can even be overwhelming and intimidating when it's not something that you do often.

However, this doesn't mean that you're going to be single for the rest of your life. Just because you only have a few people in your circle, it doesn't mean that your choices are limited. Girls are everywhere. You just have to put yourself out there so you don't miss out on someone who could potentially be "The One."

How do you find a girl to date if you have an introverted personality and very limited social connections? Here's how.

Tidy up

Before you head out to find a potential date, take some time to tidy up. Take a shower, shave that facial hair you've been growing for weeks, and put on some nice smelling cologne.

You never know when you're going to meet a girl, so it's best to be prepared. Girls love guys who look clean and smell good as these are signs that a guy can take care of himself well. Good hygiene also increases your chances of looking dateable to girls.

Ask help from friends

You should have some close friends who can help you out. Let them set you up with someone who has the same interests or personality as you.

If most of your friends are guys, you can try asking their sisters or girlfriends to set you up with their friends. Let them know that you're asking for help because you're not that confident in asking someone out directly.

Use your extended social connections to find a girl to date. No matter how small your circle may be, there's still a possibility that you can find someone to date somewhere beyond the border. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Approach girls in everyday places

You can meet girls anywhere. At the library, coffee shop, grocery store, or the gym. Approach a girl when she's alone, and be sure to give her a warm smile. This gives off a friendly vibe rather than a creepy stalker one.

It's even better to approach a girl who has common interests as you. If you're a book lover, try the library or the local book store. If you're into fitness, try the gym. Look around and you might find a girl you'll want to date.

You can meet girls in clubs too, but if that's not a place you're comfortable in, don't worry. You probably won't find someone in there that's looking for a long-term committed relationship anyway.

Give online dating a try

If walking up to girls and asking them out in person are some of things you're not confident in doing yet, give online dating a try. Get to know someone over the internet before you meet them. It will be more exciting and you'll have more things to talk about when you finally meet up.

You won't be wasting your time on dating someone whom you completely have no common interests with. Also, when you ask someone out via the internet and she rejects you, it won't hurt as much.

The most important thing to remember when you're trying to get a date is to simply be yourself. You won't be able to find someone who truly likes you if you're pretending to be someone else. Keep the right girl, one who likes and accepts you for who you are.
